The Augusta County GOP mass meeting 2008, which was held on April 10. Because of a dispute over procedures, there were two rival claimants to the position of committee chairman: Dr. Larry Roller, who received 141 votes in the initial ballot, and Dr. Kurt Michael, who received 103 votes. The matter is scheduled to be resolved by the Republican Party of Virginia Central Committee.
